Mr. Nahashon Young Ogutu, BSN, RN

About

Mr. Nash is a registered nurse and has served as a nurse leader for over 25 years with extensive work experience in the nursing profession. Mr. Nash holds a bachelor’s degree from New Jersey City University with some graduate work at New York University, Wagner School of Public Service.

 

Mr. Nash began his career in Kenya where he trained as a professional nurse and worked as an ICU nurse. He then transitioned to the USA where he has worked in multiple states serving in various nurse leadership roles including home health in New Jersey, public health at Mecklenburg Counter Health Department, and academia at New York University School of Medicine.

Mr. Nash is presently serving as nurse consultant with a particular interest in Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the workplace. Mr. Nash is co-founder of the Medical Relief Alliance and continues to engage in community work in the USA and Kenya, where he has organized multiple mission trips to rural communities, collaborating with local private and governmental entities. Mr. Nash has received many awards as a nurse leader, including North Carolina Community Services Award and the Kenyan American Community Services Ambassador Award, in honour of his work for communities.

 

Mr. Nash is the KNAA Chief Operations Officer (COO).
